Welcome to our course on Fall Protection. This course discusses numerous aspects of fall protection from across Canada.

Through this course, you will come to:

• Understand the basics of fall protection
• Appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of various fall protection methods, and
• Meet the fall protection training requirements of most provincial regulations.

To keep this course manageable, we will NOT discuss:

• Rope access
• Arborists’ work
• Pole climbing
• Theatrical fall protection, or
• Firefighter fall arrest.
